UV fluorescent ink is the most mature security inks in current market, to be made by adding the corresponding visible fluorescent compounds in the ink. Printed Sample with this ink can excite the fluorescent in 365nm (long wave) or 254nm (short wave ) lengths of UV light.

According to different excitation light sources,  it can be divided into long wave UV fluorescent ink, short wave UV fluorescent ink and double wave UV fluorescent inks. 

From the excitation in the form of color change, it can be divided into UV invisible fluorescent ink, UV visible fluorescent ink, and UV discoloration fluorescent ink.

UV Invisible Fluorescent Ink

Pattern or text printed with this ink is invisible in appearance, but reveal and gives off a clear bright fluorescent under UV irradiation. It is easy to detect by UV light or money detector. Therefore it is widely used in anti-counterfeiting packaging printing of domestic and foreign medicine, tobacco or other industries.

UV Visible Fluorescent Ink 

It has color in appearance, and shows fluorescence original color under UV light.

UV Discoloration Fluorescent Ink

It has color in appearance, and shows another fluorescent color under UV light.

Colorless- Yellow, Colorless- Orange, Colorless- Red, Colorless-blue, Colorless-Yellow Green, Colorless-Emerald Green, Colorless- Grass Green, Colorless- Dark Green, Colorless- Emerald Blue, Colorless- Reddish Blue, Colorless- Black, Colorless- White.

Long wave visible color:  

Red- Red, Orange-Orange, Yellow-Yellow, Blue-Blue, Green- Green.

Long wave discoloration: 

Red-Orange, Blue-Green, Orange-Red, Yellow-Red, Black-Red, Green-Red, 

Blue- Red, Blue-Green, Green-Yellow Green.

Short wave invisible color:

Colorless- Yellow, Colorless-Orange, Colorless-Red, Colorless-Green.

Double wave invisible color:

Long wave red –Short wave green, Long wave blue –Short wave red,

Long wave blue –Short wave yellow, Long wave blue –Short wave Green,

Long wave grass green –Short wave yellow, Long wave grass green –Short wave orange, Long wave grass green –Short wave red.

Application:

The packaging printing industries with high security requirement such as currency, passport, certificate, cigarette,alcohol, cosmetics, medicine etc.

Printing Way:

Any kind of printing way suitable, offset, UV offset, letterpress, UV flexo printing, silk-screen printing, UV silk-screen, water-based silk-screen,  transfer printing, gravure, spray printing, stamp.

For Silk-screen printing, the substrate can be paper, plastic, nylon, ABS, PET, PP, metal, glass etc.

Suggest using 350 mesh silk-screen to print.
